ifilm playlist adds ‘Paridokht’

ifilm English TV has set to screen ‘Paridokht’ period piece by Saman Moqaddam from Saturday night.  

‘Paridokht’ is an 11-episode series that will hit the air every evening at 19:00 with three repeats on the next day at 03:00, 08:00, and 14:00 (all GMT times).

Moqaddam’s 2011 screening production will replace ‘Passing through the Hardships’.

The series narrates the life story of a girl called Paridokht, the shy and beautiful daughter of a reputable and religious man. Her life is shown in three historical periods, each of which influence the way things turn out for Paridokht.

Big names are on ‘Paridokht’ cast list such as Leila Hatami, Ali Mosaffa, Daryoush Arjman, Hassan Pourshirazi, Kambiz Dirbaz, Shahrokh Estakhri and late Abbas Amiri-Moqaddam.

Knowing the fact that ‘Shams-ol-Emareh’ and ‘Confidant’ are two other ifilm series directed by Saman Moqaddam might be a good incentive to join us for watching ‘Paridokht’.
